My sewing career began in October 2001. My mother-in-law from Washington State introduced me to the hobby. Prior to one of her visits, I asked if she would bring her sewing machine to let me try it out. By the end of their trip, my father-in-law had purchased a brand new Janome 3000 sewing machine for me (I'm lucky, I know), and my very first quilt block was completed. This is the result of my first project. Since then I have been in a sewing frenzy and there is no shortage of unfinished projects in my sewing room. I have more projects on my mental sewing list than I can possibly hope to finish in my lifetime!
